Prostate biopsy is an office-based diagnostic procedure used to obtain tissue samples from the prostate when further investigation is required, often following PSA testing or MRI findings. This may be performed using ultrasound guidance, and in selected cases is combined with MRI-fusion technology to assist with more targeted sampling of areas of concern.

MRI fusion prostate biopsy is an advanced technique that combines pre-acquired MRI images with real-time ultrasound guidance to improve targeting of specific areas within the prostate. This approach is used when MRI has identified regions that require more focused assessment in addition to standard systematic sampling.

NanoKnife (irreversible electroporation) is a focal therapy option used in selected cases of prostate cancer. It delivers controlled electrical pulses to targeted areas of prostate tissue and is considered within a specialist treatment pathway for carefully selected patients based on clinical and imaging findings.

Radiotherapy support procedures are performed in the office setting when radiotherapy is part of a patient’s treatment plan. This includes Barrigel hydrogel spacer placement, which helps separate the prostate from surrounding structures, and fiducial gold seed insertion, which assists with accurate radiotherapy targeting and planning.
